Recreation

The Borough has an active year-round community recreation program, administered by a Recreation Committee and Recreation Director Jim Freeman. The Recreation Committee offers a broad, diversified program of activities, the highlight of which is an annual "Day In The Park" celebration held in June. The Borough has four parks encompassing 32 acres of land. The parks offer recreational opportunities that include tennis, basketball, football, baseball, roller hockey, softball and soccer and two playgrounds.

Field Use

Field use is no longer under the jurisdiction of Montvale Recreation.  However, field use must still be approved by the field coordinator. Application forms are available at the Borough Hall. Liability insurance is required and use is strictly subject to availability. For further information contact Field Coordinator: Tom Mascarelli at Borough Hall.

Roller Hockey And Free Skating

The rink is located behind the basketball courts at the Borough Recreation complex on Memorial Drive.
